How significant do you think platforms like IndoSec are for Indonesia?

A5. We attended IndoSec two years ago and found it to be a significant event for Indonesia’s cybersecurity community, bringing together a broad range of organizations, industry experts and technology providers.

This year, we hope to see an even wider audience and, importantly, meaningful conversations around some of the issues that are becoming increasingly important to Indonesian organizations – particularly data sovereignty and the safe, responsible use of AI in cybersecurity.

1. Energy Logserver 8.0, released in April 2026, introduced a new data engine, improved performance and a major expansion of its AI capabilities. What drove the decision to make AI and large-scale data analysis such a central part of the platform’s next phase?

2. We see this helping SOC teams move from a largely reactive model towards a much more proactive and automated way of working.

3. Our approach is to keep AI On-Prem, where the organization maintains control over the model, the data it can access and the information used to provide context.

4. Indonesia is moving towards stronger requirements around data protection and digital sovereignty. What considerations should organizations have when deciding where their security logs are stored, how long they are retained, and who has access to them?
