The strategic alliance between Okta and Palo Alto Networks is fundamentally transforming the fight against identity-based attacks by creating a unified, AI-driven security architecture. Instead of operating as siloed systems, the two platforms now share critical, real-time intelligence to provide a more holistic defense.
Okta’s Identity Threat Protection, powered by AI, works with Palo Alto Networks Cortex security platform to create a closed-loop system. When Okta detects a risky behavior, like an unusual login attempt or a privilege escalation, it sends a signal to Palo Alto Networks, which can then take immediate, automated action. This might include revoking a user’s access, terminating an active session, or even quarantining an endpoint.
By integrating their capabilities, the partnership strengthens a Zero Trust framework and provides a single view of identity-related risks across an organization’s entire digital footprint. This joint solution enhances visibility, streamlines operations for security teams, and ensures a faster, more effective response to modern identity attacks that are increasingly fueled by AI.
